Description
2020 marks the centenary of The Realistic Manifesto, published in 1920, a set of pioneering artistic principles launched in Moscow by Naum Gabo with his brother Antoine Pevsner. The statement foregrounded the tenets of Gabo's constructivist ideals - that authentically modern art should engage with and reflect the modern age - a concept that he, alongside the likes of Tatlin, Kandinsky and Malevich, strived to convey in his work.
